can i add my items to the Lazyday Classified Listings?
of course, the Lazyday Classified section is for lazyday users to buy and sell whatever they want,
all you have to do is login to lazyday and then go here to list your item (be sure you have digital
pictures of your item on your computer)
how do i upload pictures?
in the process of adding an item to the Classified section you will see this
it will allow you to choose a digital picture from your local system to be uploaded to the lazyday server, all you
have to do is find the picture on your computer and it will do the rest, after you create the initial listing you can add additional images
to the listing (as many as you want)
what types of files are acceptable for uploading?
for right now the only types of images we accept are JPEG images, they can either have a ".jpg" or a
".jpeg" file extension, most digital cameras use this file type so if you have been taking pictures with
a digital camera or converted film pictures on a disc you wont have a problem, we are currently not allowing
".gif" (another popular web-image file type) because the creation of the thumbnail cannot be done by the
server for this file type
what categories can i put items in?
right now the Classified section is just in BETA testing phase and so i have limited the classified categories
to be just automotive (cars, trucks and motorcycles), but in the future you will be able to list any type of
item you want, you can email me at contractorwolf@hotmail.com if you want to suggest a category and i will add
it to the list
how do i view my items after adding them to the classifieds?
all items must be approved by a lazyday admin prior to appearing in the listing, but prior to the items approval
you can view your items by clicking on the my account link
after the item has been approved you will see it in the classified listing
how do i edit the information after i have put it in?
to modify your listing you simply have to login using the account you created the classified listing with and view
the listing, if you are logged in as the creator of the listing you will see an "edit classified item" link
at the bottom of the listing, if you click that link you will be able to modify your listing (change price, change title, etc.)
what if i want to ask a seller a question about an item?
since you have to be a lazyday user to list an item i made it easy for users to contact each other about classified listings,
if you are looking at a Classified item you will see the username of the person who created the listing linked in white
you can click on this link to find ou more information on the user, and to private message the user. Please note
that you must be logged in to lazyday to access this feature!
how much does it cost to list an item?
right now lazyday users can list any item they want FOR FREE! this is a limited time offer though so get your items up now!
in the future the cost of listing an item in the Lazyday Classified section will be directly related to the value of the
item
can i get the pretty girls to take pictures with my car?
the girls were nice enough to offer their help in making the Lazyday Classifieds a real lazyday item, if you make them an reasonable
offer i will be happy to relay it to them but that is really their decision
